By accessing or using Guess the Flip (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Guess the Flip is a free, entertainment-only daily coin flip prediction game. Users predict the outcome of a daily coin flip — heads or tails — for fun. The Service offers no prizes, monetary rewards, or items of real-world value of any kind. It is not gambling and is not intended to be used as such.

Flip results are determined by drand, a third-party distributed randomness beacon. We do not control, predict, or manipulate flip results.

3. Accounts

You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we determine, in our sole discretion, are being used inappropriately.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure
• Abuse, harass, or impersonate other users
• Use automated tools to interact with the Service in ways not intended by its design
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and software comprising the Service is the property of Off-by-One Labs or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

6. Privacy & Analytics

We collect your email address for authentication purposes only. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

With your consent, we use PostHog — a third-party analytics service — to collect anonymous usage data (page views, feature interactions) to help us understand how the app is used and improve it. PostHog may store a cookie and data in your browser’s local storage for this purpose. No personally identifiable information is sent to PostHog.

You will be asked for consent the first time you visit. You can decline or change your mind at any time by clearing your cookies — your consent preference is stored in a browser cookie that expires after one year.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Off-by-One Labs and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service.

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
